Founded in 1943, Tecnológico de Monterrey has expanded into multi-campus university system with activities all over Mexico and near 100,000 student. Its main campus in Monterrey, with more than 15,000 undergraduate and graduate students, has the privilege of hosting TECAM 2014.
Founded by industrialists, the Tecnológico de Monterrey has a long-standing tradition for close collaboration with local and global companies. Most of such university-industry relationships that happen within the School of Engineering and Information Technology take shape through graduate student research, consulting projects and continuing education. It is this interaction with industry and a wide range of entrepreneurship activities that make TECAM 2014 in Monterrey a particularly interesting event.
The School of Engineering and Information Technology, operating ten research center, supports 17 undergraduate programs and 11 graduate level programs (including the Ph.D. in Engineering and Ph.D. in Information Technology). Current research projects involve interaction with the fields of medical devices, automotive engineering, aerospace engineering and industrial equipment.
The School of Medicine and Health Sciences supports 5 undergraduate programs, 16 residency programs and 1 graduate level program (Ph.D. in Clinical Sciences).
